Beta Club

The National Junior Beta Club recognizes outstanding achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for students to develop interpersonal relationship skills. Rockford 5th grade students that have demonstrated academic achievement, exemplified worthy character, and maintained a commendable attitude throughout the first nine weeks of school are invited to join.

Club meetings will be held after school once a month. Each student must attend all meetings, maintain honor roll status, exhibit satisfactory behavior, as well as participate in other various club activities and community service projects to remain an active member. We will have a Beta Induction Ceremony at the school in November.

There is a membership fee of $26 ($16- goes to the National Beta Organization and $10- goes to the school chapter) to join the Junior National Beta Club.

Samantha Baldwin and Amanda Whitehead are our school Junior Beta Sponsors.
